Trade/Value Chain Development:

  • Retail, wholesale and home delivery of dry fresh organic food products including dairy products. OWF retails from many outlets such as Bhatbateni and Big Mart chains through distribution from our outlet.
  • Value chain development.
  • Import export of organic products, materials.

Training and Consultancies:

  • Promotion and education on permaculture and organic agriculture. One of OWF’s most recent endeavors is urban permaculture, through the creation of the office’s roof top garden, which integrates vegetable, fruits and ornamental plants, and operates as a resource center. Urban permaculture recognizes that ecological sustainability is not just a rural issue, but can also be addressed and managed in metropolitan areas.
  • Providing consultancy services regarding technical and program designs on permaculture, organic agriculture, sustainable agriculture, food security, and climate change.

Eco-Tourism:

Connecting our guests with organic farms and villages located at different destinations in Nepal, such as Toplang (Dhading), Helambu, Timal, and Hasera (Dhulikhel) through professional partner agencies.

Disaster Response Program:

OWF was actively involved in a disaster response program for the affected victims of the earthquake disaster in April 2015.

The company distributed relief materials; mosquito net, blankets and tarpoulines for 556 households of Dumre Dharapani VDC in Khotang district.

Similarly varieties of vegetable seeds with galvanized storage tin bins were distributed to 900 households of 3 VDCs in Timal area Kavrepalanchok district.

In the near future, OWF is planning to launch the Nepal Long-term Recovery and Reconstruction Programming, in financial cooperation and partnership with CECI and Fair Trade Group Nepal (FTG). The project will be implemented in 4 VDCs of the Kavre Palanchok district. Similarly, OWF is also looking to implement an agro-enterprise promotion program as a recovery effort for livelihood development in earthquake affected VDCs of Sindhupalchok and Gorkha districts, in financial cooperation with OXFAM and IM Nepal, respectively.
